220° Stereographic Fisheye M12 Lens for 1/3" Board Cameras

CIL207 is a 220-degree stereographic M12 fisheye lens for 1/4" to 1/3" sensors such as the IMX226 and AR0821. At 0.8mm EFL, F/1.9, and 4g, it puts an unusually wide field into a very small package. The 2G4P optical design resolves 3-5MP at 2.2μm pixel pitch across a 4.0mm image circle.

The stereographic projection is the reason to buy it. Compared with an equidistant fisheye, it keeps angular magnification more uniform across the frame, so objects near the edge stay closer to their true relative size. The +27% F-Θ value places the lens firmly in stereographic territory.

That trade works well in exterior surveillance, downward-facing drone cameras, and wide-area inspection, where losing useful detail at 90 degrees off-axis gets expensive fast.

The M12A variant is IP67-rated with a sealed metal barrel and BBAR coating on the first lens surface. Order CIL207-F1.9-M12A650 if you want the 650nm IRC filter for daylight use, or order CIL207-F1.9-M12ANIR if the sensor needs NIR sensitivity. e-con Systems S-mount boards need a 5-7mm tall holder, and Allied Vision Alvium plus FLIR Blackfly S board cameras need a custom adapter.
