2.1mm M12 Lens for up to 1/4" sensors such as AR0144

The CIL820 is a 2.1mm M7 lens for 1/4" sensors like the ON Semiconductor AR0144. It gives you a 108° field of view at the 4.5mm image circle, so a tiny sensor still sees a lot of scene. At F/2.7, the lens passes enough light for proximity sensing, gesture recognition, and compact surveillance modules that usually run in the 1–2MP range.

The 2G2P design resolves 1–2MP, which matches the sensors most M7 systems actually use. Distortion is +16% F-Θ, so you are trading geometric accuracy for coverage. That trade works for occupancy detection and presence sensing, but measurement work will need software correction.

Construction uses two glass elements and two polymer elements in an AL6061 aluminum barrel. The lens weighs 1.0g, and the 10.9mm TTL keeps the package small enough for tight embedded layouts. You can use our field of view calculator at field of view calculator to confirm coverage on your sensor.

The M07A variant is available as CIL820-F2.7-M07A650 with a 650nm IR cut filter or as CIL820-F2.7-M07ANIR without a filter for NIR work. The lens works directly with D3 Engineering camera modules.
