The CIL034 is a 3.25mm M12 lens with +34% F-θ pincushion distortion and 0.07% TV in the usable image area. It gives 102° diagonal field of view on an 8.0mm image circle and covers 1/2.5" to 1/1.8" sensors depending on which aperture version you choose.

This lens uses pincushion distortion on purpose. The +34% F-θ profile works out to only 0.07% TV in the usable image area, so straight lines stay straight enough for measurement and inspection without software correction. The F/2.3 version resolves 5MP at 2.4μm pixel pitch, the F/2.7 version handles 8-10MP at 1.85μm, and the F/4.2 version resolves 6MP at 2.2μm. Pick the faster aperture when light matters more, and pick the slower one when depth of field matters more.

Hybrid glass and plastic optics sit in an aluminum barrel. The M12A variant ships with IP67+ sealing and a 17mm diameter cap, while M12B is unsealed with a 14mm cap for tighter spaces. Both versions accept optional 650nm or 660nm IR cut filters.
