190° Stereographic All-Glass Fisheye M12 Lens for 12MP 1/1.7" Sensors

CIL293 is an all-glass, IP67-rated stereographic fisheye M12 lens with 1.3mm EFL and F/2.2 for 1/1.7" sensors up to 16MP. The optical design uses eight standard glass elements plus two molded glass aspheres, and that stack is what makes 190-degree stereographic coverage possible while still reaching 1.55μm pixel pitch.

At 25g, the lens is heavier than a typical M12 fisheye. That extra mass buys you all-glass stability and better edge performance, which matters more than weight in fixed industrial or vehicle-mounted systems.

The 5.4mm image circle produces a circular fisheye on 1/1.7" sensors in 4:3 format. Stereographic projection at +25% F-Θ preserves edge magnification better than an equidistant design, and the 11-degree chief ray angle matches back-illuminated sensors with microlens arrays tuned to that range. IMX226 and AR2020 are a good fit.

The M12A variant is IP67-sealed with an AL6061 barrel and BBAR coating on the first surface. Order CIL293-F2.2-M12A650 with the 650nm IRC filter or CIL293-F2.2-M12ANIR for NIR applications. Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S board, The Imaging Source M12, Basler Dart, and iDS uEye LE are mechanically compatible. Rev1.1 is direct, while Rev1.2 requires a part number ending in C-NO. e-con Systems S-mount boards work with an 8-15mm tall mount.
