The CIL068 supports 1/1.8 inch and 1/2 inch sensors up to 12MP at 1.55μm pixel pitch. It pairs well with the Sony IMX477 and IMX412 in high-resolution machine vision systems.
How much distortion does the CIL068 have?
The CIL068 has just -3% rectilinear distortion. That is low enough for dimensional measurement, barcode reading, and automated optical inspection without software correction in many setups.

Yes. The CIL068 works well for barcode scanning, OCR, dimensional measurement, and AOI because it combines -3% distortion with 12MP resolution. The all-glass 8-element design has the resolving power needed for small feature detection on production lines.
