4mm M12 Lens for up to 1/2.5" Sensors such as ISX031 and AR0234

The CIL092 is a 9mm IR corrected M12 lens for 1/1.7" sensors up to 12MP. At 9.1mm EFL and F/2.6, it resolves 10–12MP on sensors like the Sony IMX676 and IMX678 at 1.85μm pixel pitch. That combination is hard to get in S-mount when you need this focal length and still want real resolution.

The 9.2mm design image circle, with a 10.0mm maximum, gives you a 55° field of view and only -3.7% rectilinear distortion. That level is low enough that many inspection and measurement systems can skip software correction and keep the pipeline simpler. You can use field of view calculator to verify the exact coverage on your sensor.

The all-glass construction matters here because the lens is IR corrected across visible and near-IR wavelengths. That correction keeps longitudinal chromatic aberration down, so day and night RGBIR systems stay in focus without mechanical refocus. The M12A variant includes BBAR coating on the first surface. The lens mounts directly to FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, iDS uEye LE, The Imaging Source, and Basler Dart cameras, while e-con Systems boards need a 13mm tall holder.
