M12 Miniature Fisheye Lens \| 200° and up to 10MP and 2/3" such as AR1335 and IMX677

The CIL219 is a 1.9mm M12 fisheye lens with a 200° field of view and a 6.3mm image circle. It covers sensors from 1/2.3 inch up to 2/3 inch formats including the AR1335 and IMX677, resolving 8-10MP at 2.2 micron pixel pitch. That amount of coverage is what you buy this lens for. It can see enough scene for panoramic stitching, surround-view, and ceiling-mounted surveillance without leaving obvious blind spots.

Distortion is -5% F-theta, which places the lens in the equidistant fisheye category. That projection keeps angular mapping predictable, so calibration and stitching behave more cleanly than they do with a generic ultra-wide lens that lacks a known mapping model. The two molded glass aspheric elements also keep edge sharpness better than you would expect from a compact fisheye in this price class.

The lens uses all-glass, all-metal construction and carries an IP67 seal. The metal barrel and cap include BBAR coating on the first surface to reduce ghosting, and the total weight stays at 13.3g, which is still manageable for drones, robots, and embedded vision builds. At F/2.5, the lens is not unusually fast, but it is fast enough for most wide-angle systems that can tolerate shorter exposure tradeoffs.

The M12A variant is available as CIL219-F2.5-M12A650 with a 650nm IR cut-off filter or as CIL219-F2.5-M12ANIR without a filter for NIR applications. The lens fits e-con Systems standard S-mount boards with a 9-13mm tall holder, Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S, iDS uEye LE, The Imaging Source, and Basler Dart cameras with the Commonlands CLA018 holder.
