50mm C-Mount lens \| For up to 12MP sensors with 1.85μm pixels such as the IMX536, IMX546 and IMX566

The CIL536 is a 50mm C-mount lens for 2/3" sensors at up to 12MP with 1.85μm pixel pitch. It matches sensors like the Sony IMX536, IMX546, and IMX566, and the iris adjusts from F/2.8 to F/16. This is the telephoto end of the lineup, so you use it when the camera has to stay back and still resolve small detail.

The CIL536 narrows the field to 10.9° across the 11.0mm image circle. That framing is useful in conveyor inspection, longer-range QC, and other setups that work at 500mm and beyond. Distortion is 0.01%, which is close enough to zero that most measurement systems can skip software correction without giving anything up.

The lens uses an all-glass optical design in a compact 64g package, and the front takes M27x0.5 filters. The working distance range runs from 500mm to infinity, which tells you where the lens belongs. It is not a close-up optic. It is a standoff optic for systems that need reach.

The standard C-mount thread fits cameras from FLIR, Basler, Lucid Vision, Allied Vision, and other vendors using 2/3" sensors. If the field is too tight, you should step down to the CIL534 at 25mm or the CIL514 at 25mm for 1.1" format cameras.
