Low Distortion 4.5mm M12 Lens:For up to 5MP sensors with 2.2um pixels such as MT9P031

The CIL045 is a 4.5mm M12 lens for 5MP sensors at 2.2μm pixel pitch such as the ON Semi MT9P031. It uses a fixed F/3.5 aperture and gives 68° field of view across a 6.0mm image circle on 1/2.5" sensors, with usable coverage to 7.2mm for up to 1/1.9" formats.

Distortion stays under 1% in both common metrics: -0.9% rectilinear and +0.4% TV. That matters because straight lines remain straight enough for measurement, barcode reading, and quality inspection without forcing a software correction step.

The lens uses 3G2P optics and weighs 5g, so it keeps the package light. It comes in a single M12A mechanical variant with BBAR coating on the first surface. Order CIL045-F3.5-M12A650 with the 650nm IR cut filter, or CIL045-F3.5-M12ANIR without a filter for NIR wavelengths.

The lens is compatible with FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, Basler Dart, iDS uEye LE (Rev1.1 and Rev1.2), and The Imaging Source board cameras.
