The CIL340 is a 4mm M12 wide-angle lens for 1/1.7 inch sensors such as the Sony IMX226 and IMX178. It uses a 4.0mm EFL, F/2.0 aperture, +0.3% F-theta distortion, and 114° field of view, so it targets wide-area imaging without leaning all the way into fisheye behavior.

F-theta projection keeps angular resolution close to uniform across the frame. A rectilinear lens usually compresses the edges, while a fisheye tends to spend too many pixels in the center. This optic lands in the middle, which is why it works well for surveillance and wide-area monitoring. It resolves 12-16MP at 1.55μm pixel pitch across a 9.0mm image circle. All-glass elements sit in an AL6061 aluminum barrel, and the first surface uses BBAR coating to help with flare. The standard M12A variant is unsealed. If your system faces weather or washdown, use the CIL340-F2.0-M12B650 IP67 variant instead. Total weight is 12g.

The lens is compatible with Commonlands CLA019 lens holders using a 10-15mm standoff height. It also fits e-con Systems, Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S, iDS uEye LE (Rev1.1 and Rev1.2), The Imaging Source, and Basler Dart S-mount cameras.
