What sensors does the CIL033 3.3mm M12 lens support?
The CIL033 covers sensors up to 1/2 inch format, including 1/2.3 inch and 1/2.5 inch sensors. It resolves 10MP at 1.55μm pixel pitch across an 8.6mm image circle.
What is the distortion on the CIL033?
The CIL033 has 2% TV distortion. That is low enough for most applications to skip software correction, and straight lines still look straight across the 88° field.
What is the difference between the CIL033 F/2.8 and F/5.0 variants?
The F/2.8 version gathers more light, while the F/5.0 version gives more depth of field for fixed-focus inspection. The optical design stays the same. Check the tradeoff with the Commonlands depth of field calculator.
Is the CIL033 compatible with FLIR Blackfly S?
No, the CIL033 is not mechanically compatible with FLIR Blackfly S boards. If you need Blackfly compatibility, look at the CIL039 or CIL078.
