191° Fisheye Lens S-Mount for 10-12MP Sensors

CIL281 is a high-resolution fisheye M12 lens with a 1.95mm effective focal length, 191° field of view, and a fast F/1.8 aperture. It supports 10-12MP sensors with 1.55μm pixels and projects a 6.4mm image circle. That puts it in a useful range for compact systems that need both very wide coverage and modern pixel density.

The distortion profile is one of the main reasons to use this part. CIL281 is specified at -1% F-Theta distortion, which is unusually low for a fisheye near 190°. If your pipeline depends on angular consistency for calibration, perception, or scene stitching, that spec is more relevant than a simple TV distortion number.

The lens covers formats from 1/2.3" up to 2/3", giving you flexibility across several sensor families. With glass optics and an AL6061 mechanical package, it is built for board-level systems that need better thermal and mechanical stability than low-cost plastic fisheyes usually provide.

CIL281 weighs 13g and is available in an IP67-rated M12A construction with BBAR on the first surface. For outdoor or exposed cameras, that combination of sealing, wide field, and F/1.8 throughput is often the deciding factor.
