195° High-Resolution Fisheye M12 Lens for 14-18MP 1/2.3" Sensors

The CIL216 is a 195° fisheye M12 lens optimized for high-resolution sensors in the 14-18MP range. EFL is 1.55mm, aperture F/2.2, and the 4.7mm image circle produces a circular fisheye on 1/2.3" sensors. The optical design resolves 1.3μm pixels — at 14MP+ you won't be leaving resolution on the table with this lens.

Distortion is -11% F-Θ, which is on the lower end for 195° fisheyes. F-Θ mapping keeps angular resolution consistent across the frame, which matters for panoramic stitching and omnidirectional surveillance applications. The all-glass construction maintains optical performance under thermal cycling.

Two barrel variants: M12A and M12B, both in AL6061 aluminum. Neither variant includes IP67 ingress protection, so this lens is intended for indoor or housed installations. Available with 650nm IR cut filter (CIL216-F2.2-M12A650 / CIL216-F2.2-M12B650) or without filter for NIR applications (CIL216-F2.2-M12ANIR / CIL216-F2.2-M12BNIR).

Camera compatibility includes Allied Vision Alvium, FLIR Blackfly S, The Imaging Source M12 boards, and Basler Dart S-Mount. iDS uEye LE Rev1.1 works; Rev1.2 requires the C-NO suffix. e-con Systems boards with 8-15mm tall S-mount are compatible. Use the Commonlands CLA024 lens holder for standalone installations.
