Adapter for M8x0.35 lenses / S Mount Holder

The CLA812 is an M8x0.35 to M12x0.5 adapter machined from aluminum at 3mm thick. It lets M8 lenses thread into standard M12, or S-mount, lens holders, which is useful when miniature M8 optics need to live on the broader M12 camera ecosystem.

Spanner wrench cutouts on the face let you tighten the adapter without damaging the threads. The 3mm profile adds minimal back focal distance, which matters when you are already working inside the tight clearances common to M8 optical designs.

The machined aluminum body gives you solid thread engagement on both the M8 and M12 sides. That is the right construction choice for repeated assembly, because it avoids the wear and alignment problems that show up with softer materials.

The CLA812 works with any Commonlands M8 lens, including the CIL903, CIL904, and CIL908 series, mounted into standard M12 lens holders from Commonlands or third-party board cameras.
